Understand, that the status quo can only be changed if the people want it to. But right now, the people's only influence seems to be mass media, you sitting here telling us the truth doesn't fix the fact that nobody in this era believes it.

Don't even bother wasting energy on explaining the truth, unless the people ask for it. Will they ask for it in these times? Probably not. So just be content with the truth you already have.

Every time you want to course one way, there will almost always be somebody who wants to course the other way.

 

The problem with our democracy is that it's full of people who watch the evening news and nothing else. They either lack the ability to surf the internet in search of the truth or they take what's handed to them by corporations who have an interest in keeping things the way they are.

You'll seldom see any criticism of Israel in the evening news, despite Israel's horiffic human rights record.

What you do see about Israel is often a product of somebody else. A person with a video camera catches something and then Israel has to explain itself.

Otherwise, the news we see in the west has been santized to the satisfaction of those who matter.

The problem with democracy, is that the government is too easy to be corrupted. A nation by the people for the people? That ended when the central bank rose to power after the revolution. Capitalism takes its toll. The only person known in history to make it work was Alexander "The Great". And even after his death, it became corrupted.

The men in charge will never allow it to matter. Why? Because its not part of their agenda. Face it, we as the citizens have no say in what our government can or can't do for the time being. The media manipulation techniques work too damned well for it to fail this early in the game.
