Well ive been a member of this forum since my dreads were about maybe 3-4 months old. Now there 2 years and 3 months old and still shitty ha but its all good. I started backcombing and yes i used wax at first but then when i found this site i stopped using wax and got out as much as possible. I wash they during the hot months once a week and during the cold months 1-2 times a month lol takes a long time to dry so ye. I know their bad but eh their my dreads and i love em. This is only the back and dont mind my holes in my shirt I was bumming at my house and my lil sis took a pic. i like em! im starting mine again but i have no idea what shampoo i want to use. i wanna use something that smells great but doesnt cause my dreads to have shit in the middle of them.
Ha thanks but people in my city dont seem to think so ha hard as hell to find a job but they gonna stay with me til they make ma neck break

Na ATX has alot of dreadheads but I live on the mex border and I am hispanic myself so ye I guess thats why. But my city is cool gateway if u kno what I mean.
I think your hair looks great! Why do wash so infrequently? Just cause they take forever to dry? Doesn't that drive you batty? My head itches so bad if I don't wash every 2-3 days. Someone once suggested using a shammy to dry dreads, may be worth looking into. Especially if you smoke or work outside. Dreads can hold the smells of your life. I clean houses and come home with ceiling fan dust on my hair and eyelashes...gotta wash your hair and keep it clean though, yk? To each his own if it works for you, I'm just sayin if you would like to wash more frequently there are ways around waiting 8 hours for it to dry. Keep rockin' the dreads man, they look nice
My head dont itch much never has really lol but once a week aint too bad i live in a desert pretty much so it was actually hot today and its december lol. But I do like to wash em but sometimes they take so long to dry and I smoke alot of pot and tend to take naps from time to time
