hair prior to dreads

i only found 1 old old goofy christmass pic from many years ago i'll have to see if i can get it scanned
but mines always been very thick very string in fact my uncle4 used to always puck me up off the floor bu my hair
it was fairly straight with just a lil wave towards the ends as it grew out and was fairly shotrt when i started
its always been extremely thick though and had a mind of its own

I loved my hair before, but not nearly as much as I do now. Some goofy pic of me:

 

this is a few months before getting dreads.
I always found it a bit odd why only the ends are really curly

 

like 6inch straight hair. very thin as well... just got my dreads last night after a 5 hour journey

 

I had real nice thick sort of wavy hair I kind of miss my old hair as I am only a few month in with the locks but its all good

 

I had very thin very straight hair that was always super flat and lame.

 

I can't remember who was asking what my hair was like, but I came across an old picture on the computer while deleting random shit.

This pic is actually from day one of when I stopped combing. Very long, fine, straight hair. I went the natural route, obviously. One of these days I'll do a timeline because my hair looks MUCH different now. My length is all but gone

 

haha i had nearly the exact same hair before my dreads...it was around the same length aswell but i love my dreads and im not going back

 

well in that picture it was the end of '07 and i started dreads in July of '08, so my hair was a little bit longer than that when i started. but that was the most recent picture i had. i kinda miss it tho, a lot of people liked it. but i had to wash it everyday or the next morning it felt gross. and i was like hmmmm....dreads ftw. but i also wanted to do dreads since like 8th grade.

 

yeah when i was like 10 i wanted cornrows haha but that would have looked ridiculous on a 10 year old irisch child had dreads for a year now though and i love them, used wax at first but stopped when i realized how shit it was, now they're clean and fluffy i'll post a pic of when i had short hair and now

 

Thick, curly, wavy and all over the place! So dreads were the obvious choice for me, and i've never looked back!!

 

My hair was kinda strange... it was very curly, but straight in a few parts.

And that's me about 10 minutes ago. I didn't get the dreads until about 2 months after the "Before" photo.
