planetary consciousness? awakening earth? is the bush administration a nightmare, then? this article is a little old, but: http://www.caw.org/articles/conspiracy.html discuss.
hmmm, I'm not so sure kitty, its soo hard to say seeing as how the gailic peoples use of the runes stymed there development of the written word, there are so many thing obviously started by gailic people but atributed to somewere else
Kitty Fabulous - I suggest you re-read the article. Get rid of your belief that pagans are seperate to anyone else. The Bush admistration is also made up of humans, and therefore part of the same macrocosm that you and I are part of. You have to remember if global warming gets as far as it looks like it will, too much ice will melt in the thermohalin current and it will stop causing a global ice age. If we upset the equilliberium to much than we will be deleted. Simple as that. Blessings Sebbi
"gaelic" is the tongue of old eire... the emerald isle... "ge" is the first greek mother earth goddess... (ge = gaia; as in: ge -ology, -ometry, -omancy...)
steffan, gaea/gaia is greek. it is not gaelic, or keltic. the kelts etc. gave us many wonderful cultural gifts, but this word was not one of them. the mythology involing gaea is very ancient, predating the contact & conflicts with the northern tribes.
Dear Sebbi, I read and enjoyed the article and for me it was perfectly clear how the Bush Admin was furthering the scratching of the wound of gaia. We, as a species, tend to be so human centered to the exclusion of the rest of our brother and sister creatures. Its a matter of living simply... so that others can simply live. (I love that bumper sticker) Much love and bright blessings. Sylvan
what of the mummys of western china? or the ice man? keltic symbols were found in both. i dont think much we have predates them in the way of cultures, but who can realy say, so much propaganda, so much destroyed on an interesteing side note the whitches conical hat was found in a grave in western china dating back some 3000 years, prior to that discovery it was believed to be fictitiuos. tartens were also found, its a shame the chinese goverment had destroyed so many of the graves, (mostly removing the skulls to prevent identification), who knows what else was there
been doing some research, cant be greek, there woman didnt even have names. saw one article said it was etruschin, i give up now, no way to know
I do agree with you sylvan. The Bush Admin is definitatly causing enormous damage to the planet. What I was trying to get across is that having a hostile attitude to your fellow humans, including those that will probably contribute hugely to the destruction of life on earth, is not helping anyone. I take on an extremely Christian viewpoint of "hate the sin, love the sinner" I believe that Bush is indeed a very destructive presence, but I also believe that we should love him as a human being, i.e. with all his faults. Remember we can only affect the part of the universe that we can, condemning Bush (or anyone else) only creates more hatred, condemning his actions just creates more anger. (Admittedly enlightening those who think he's an all good presence will probably do more good than harm.) I think the solution to the Bush problem is not to vote for him. And write letters to your local MPs (or whoever you have in America) complaining about Policy and encouraging anyone who has grumbles to do so. The solution to the world wound I think is simple. And that, as you say, is to live simply and do our bit. Blessings Sebbi
Bare in mind it's not always that the Celts influenced the rest of the world (which is possible but unlikely) but that the rest of the world influenced the celts. Bare in mind the celts were in a part of the world where lots of people who flowing in, and not much flowing out. Blessings Sebbi
You are a kind person. Helping the wound to heal will take alot more of this kindness from everyone, putting love into action to reverse all these mental trends of thinking about doing it.
Thanks Sylvan, hearing that means a lot, the chips are down for me at the moment so that really does help. Blessings Sebbi
I'm really not sure what to think of the article... of course, I think very little of the Bush administration... so glad to be Canadian...
