Why??? I'll tell you the best parts about Miami. Miami has some pretty good beaches. But the Cayman Islands, Maui, Cocoa Beach and Brazil have much, much better beaches. Sydney has better beaches than Miami, plus Sydney is a far better city. Miami has an awesome grid system so you can find an address easily. The bars in Coconut Grove are pretty good, like Tavern and Barracuda. Other than that, Miami SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so MAD that I had to come back here. Miami Beach, and the clubs out there, is a bunch of overpriced, over-hyped SHIT!!!!!! The Dolphin was a complete parking lot this afternoon at 1530. Who the hell is out of work that early. No me molestan los latinos legales, me gusta sus comidas. (Translation: "The legal latins don't bother me, I like their food." I just want it to me known that I'm not a racist.) But latin food is not as good as Italian, Thai, Greek or even Ethiopian food. (I'll bet you didn't know the Ethiopians had food. But, they have a very decent cuisine. Better than Cubans anyways.) I must admit that a skirt steak with chimichurri is one of the best meals on the planet. But that's not Cuban, that's Uruguayan or Argentinian. Plus the weather in Miami sucks about 320 days out of the year. The other 45 days it is either rainy (Which is MUCH better than the stupid hot weather we normally have.) or it is beautiful like it was Tuesday. You could have hardly asked for better weather than what we had here in Miami on Tuesday 10/28/08. And everything is way too damn expensive in Miami. This place SUCKS and I can't wait to get back to somewhere normal, like my beautiful hills of Eastern Tennessee. I will miss the Chimichurri and the panang thai curry, but maybe I can learn to cook my own. And you give a little and you take a little, no where is perfect, eh? I guess living in Miami is better than living in a real shit hole like Detroit, Port Moresby, Kabul, Sao Paolo or Melbourne, Aus (Go the Swanies!!!!), but Miami is still pretty fucking bad. Don't come here, stay away.
after i came back from NYC when i was 9, i realized how little miami has to do for fun. I mean Fuk! NJ and NYC has so much culture!!! and theres so much to do there even if you live there, I understand NYC has a 10million sumthing population and you cant compare that to miami but still! miami is boring South beach is full of overpriced EVERYTHING. But i can say this i was i orlando for oneweekend and realised how much i missed the beach LOL.
