Hey guys, new here, this is really more of a technical question about HipForums, but seeing as this could possibly just be stoned moment I figure I'd put it here I've been trying to figure out where to edit my Signature, after looking at the FAQ it says the option should be on the left-hand menu in the User CP, although I see nothing about a Signature. Do you have to be a member for a certain period of time, or have a minimum post count to add a Signature? Thanks for the help!
i think it might be 1000 posts before you get a signature but im not sure... Welcome to the forums btw
i dont think post count has to do with it... i think you have to wait a month, then you are a member.. i've seen people with 80 posts who were guests, and members with only 1 post.
I think it is 100 posts or 1 month, as I was a member after 100 posts after a couple weeks, certainly not a month. I have seen the same thing with members with like 10 posts though.
well, i just made mine.... what do you guys think? uhhh, why is my signiture not showing? its saved in my profile...
Ah, I kind of figured it would be something like that. Didn't think I was THAT out of it when looking for the link Thanks for the help.
I think you need to have a minumum of 10,000 posts before you can have a signature. I can t wait till I get there. should be about 2012
Its confusing because the user help section stickies are so old....and some user help issues are posted in the site announcement sections....but I noticed the Anons where able to use PM and have sigs and member status after 21 or 30 posts...and I think they had to wait five days
i know the link says 20 posts 5 days, but for me i had 50 posts and after two weeks was still a guest.. so i'm not sure if it automatically happens or what..
Nice! Thanks for the link BBAD! Next question, can you upload custom Avatars, or only use the selection of default ones?
ok, mine works now. seems it took a few minutes to start working or something. do you like it? (it was my first attempt at growing from a single seed i was given)
