To the untrained mind you might think having the government give money to places that will extend credit so houses, cars, ect cound be purchased in an economy of job loss, no money to spend, people loosing thier homes, cars, jobs, and credit going bad, bankruptcy rates increasing is a very stupid way to rebuild a country. So lets break it down, people who have no jobs, no money and lost homes and thier credit rating will have the ability to apply for funds that the goverment gave away that these people are paying for anyway but will be turned down becuase of the first issues.
Don't make no sense to me. Nobody is going to buy anything right now. The mortgage companies are scared to give loans and nobody qualifies. There is a general mood of mild survival mode of buying nothing but essentials right now.
i think to most people who actually have to be concerned about where the economy is headed it weighs on their mind.. i know it does mine.. i think he should make 10 threads a day it may actually start more people thinking about what a joke all these government plans are and how they are doing nothing but lining the pockets of the wealthy before the real crash comes..
its kinda like obamas plan to create or save 2.5 million jobs by 2011. that sounds great doesnt it?? yeah until you realize there are already 10.08 million out of work and that number will almost double by the end of next year.. they are all just spitting into the wind and doing their best to snow the sheeple till it all crumbles..
There's plenty of credit available now to people who have the means and inclination to pay it back, it seems to me. My home equity line hasn't been cancelled or reduced and the credit limit on one of my cards was just increased. I have more credit available than I need, since I don't really need anything and I've quit buying things I don't need and most stuff that is available is Chinese crap. Guess I'm not doing my part for the economy, am I?
Could you imagine the loss by 2011 as to what he plans to create, seems a bubble gum patch on Hoover damn.
the thing that makes me laugh is that folks actually think thats great.. even after he backed off his original statement of "create" to "create OR save".. so he saves 2 million jobs, ive already lost mine.. im not impressed...
I wonder if the jobless rates take into account that more and more people are taking on more than 1 job these days? If a third of the country didn't feel the need to have 3 jobs to maintain their lifestyles, maybe those jobs could go to people that don't have a job?
This is exactly their aim. They DO NOT give the slightest fuck about the taxpayer except where it begins to hurt the wealthy. IF they really wanted to stimulate the economy there are far better ways of spending the money and it would cost a fuck of a lot less too. ALL the rhetoric about jump starting the economy and unfreezing credit as a smokescreen intended to discourage opposition. The sales pitch to effect popular support amounted to little more than scare tactics. It is in no way in the interests of the U.S. government for the post war boomers to survive into retirement and there's much being done in an effort to limit survivability but with an intact infrastructure and means of communication there's still nothing to stop record numbers of retirees from draining the United States war chest via Social Security and other entitlements but if an economic calamity turns a few million into the streets there's less chance that they will have the means of collecting and cashing benefit checks assuming they don't starve or freeze to death.
