I'm getting all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out today, and I was wondering when it should be safe for me to smoke again? I've heard your supposed to wait around 5 days, but what do you guys think? Apparently if you smoke after the wisdom teeth extraction, you can get dry sockets? Are they caused by the actual smoke, or from the suction it creates in your mouth? If it's caused by the smoke, I have a vaporizor that might be a better idea...
id stay away from it for a week. you really dont want dry socket. just take the awesome pills they give you, and you will be fine! dont forget to save some for later!
I would go with the brownies myself. Good body high and will help with the tooth pain. Don't smoke for a while.

Do they even give percs for wisdom teeth, I always thought they gave out the usual 5/500 bullshit vikes. If so I would take 4-5 of those at a time and sleep for the first few days. Then make weed brownies when your opiates are gone, then try to get more pills from the doctor.
i got percs and vikes. It made for a nice cocktail during the painful days. I didnt mind, the only thing i hated was not talking for the first day. the nurse kept shoving gauze in my mouth
DO NOT SMOKE....i did and get 2 dry sockets...trust me..just wait 5 days unless you want lots of pain.

When I had my wisdom teeth out I had 3 pulled, and one cut out. I was well aware of dry socket, but I made the decision to smoke anyway. I used any method that caused the least suction in my mouth, I was smart about it, and I was fine. The weed mixed well with the vikes. Personally I think if you are smart about how you smoke then you can avoid dry socket. One hit of the best weed I could find, smoked out of my good bong, seemed to be more like breathing than sucking, and caused no problems.
Yea, sorry for wasting everyone's valuable time by making this thread... Anyways, they gave me some shitty vics. I took 3 and didn't even really notice anything. I was thinking about maybe making some tea because it'd be hard for me to make brownies or anything like that.
i smoked 2 days after getting all four out. but i had the gauze in too so it didn't hurt. i just couldn't smoke as much as i wanted. maybe a couple hits and a drag off of a cigarette. dry socket is some nasty shit.
