Your room is soo adorable.

No way in hell you are getting pics of my bedroom ...My room is where I hide all my crap. From decorations/furniture that to fit the flow of the house,the big home gym thingy taking up space,and whatever else I don't want the kid to get into. I haven't even painted it , it is still the yucky yellow with dark blue trip it was when we moved in.

My living room though,reveals the fact that I am a parent and my kid has tooo much junk.
I do have a poor quality pic of my LR- from a few months ago. I took it mostly as a pic of the new rug though-

I seriously need slip covers.
I can't stand pics of my house .Even when its clean I look and focus more things that need to be cleaned/moved or fixed.

Wanna see the kids room? I have loads of pics of that.

 

I would love too! I love kids rooms. It's my most favorite place in Ikea.

By the way.. I like your room too it looks so comfy

babyhellfire, i love that rug & your room looks so much neeter than my room & i dont even have kids.

Huh- I thought I had more recent ones in my PB- I need to take more I guess- the ones I found are about two years of toys and missing some furnature.
..but at least you can see the walls I painted:

-yeah a little babe in that pic.That crib is now converted to toddler bed mode. And typically covered in stuffed animals.
You can sorta see one of the fairy's hanging from the ceiling ,too.

oh, and this big kitchen playset on the adjecant wall to the bookshelf-which I DO have a pic of...for some weirdo reason.LOL

 

Wow. Thanks everyone. We moved to a new house two years ago so I could build the room of my dreams. I love it, but I can tell you.. cleaning this space is really annoying. It's so big

Anyways, babyhellfire, that's exactly why I love the kids rooms I love the colors and the walls wow and that little kitchen. I used to have a similar one when I was a kid but it was way smaller..

 

i'm jealous of your childs room, babyhellfire.. when i was growing up in my old house, we were never allowed to have anything on our walls but white. my father wouldn't even let us hand up a poster or a picture because it would 'damage his hard work' and he didn't want to have to clean up after us. (why have children then? were you expecting to not have to clean up ater us? dumbass)

well.. it got to the point where there were four of us sleeping in this small room together (two sets of bunk beds) so we moved (not for us though, my dad could have cared less, he just wanted a garage and a place to put his pool table) and he let us paint the our rooms any color we wanted. my twin chose dark purple, my younger sister chose white but with those paint splatters, and my baby sister anna chose lime green lol. but i didn't want anything crazy so i just chose a blue-grey color.

 

Is that pergo laminate flooring?

Just a quick question. How slutty is this? I used to have these red stars on my window last xmas and it looked slutty. So I thought I might put them on my bed and realized this would definitely look slutty.

Would you mind your gf having this on her bed? :leaving:

We've got fairylights in our bedroom as well, they're orangey and made of real leaf skeletons, so pretty. It's like having candlelights in your room, without the actual candles (though we have a ton of those as well). Me likey.

 

i don't think its slutty looking. but i do think they definitely compliment the color scheme of your room! gorgeous.

 

Great, thank you ladies. It's just my mum, who told me last winter that "now your room looks like a call house"

 

how can lights in a window or round the bed look slutty? when i finally move out of this awful old damp house i'm gona put fairy lights round my bed too. can you believe in this house that there is 1 single plug socket in the whole room! were not allowed to mess with the eletrics in this house because its rented & the landlord would change it either.

4 years i have had to put up with this, we have one of those extention plugs on which give like 4 more sockets but its still a pain especially when you have like a sterio, tv, sky, straightners & hairdryer etc

seizedbyanger, is that you in your sig pic? if it is you look the spitting image of my mate from canada who i met throught these boards. every time i see that picture i think your her.

i'm gona have to take some pictures of this house were living in at the moment before we move early next year.
