So I got busted with a little bit of shake and the cops are acting like real assholes tellin me i'll get jail time.

This is my first arrest ever and would like to know from someone with experience what will happen.

It was only a little bit of shake. not even a nickel bag

I don't know about Illinois but here in Mass. you have to have weight to do any time, even before the law changes. Cops will tell you your situation is much worse then it is to get you to punk yourself and be a rat or just to fuck with you. Don't get scared by the statutory guidlines either because in practice the penaltys are almost always on the easy side of the spectrum.
