I am aware it's the mature, and very right thing to do, to hold a "other people have to choose when to dose themselves" stance on the subject.

But you know it strikes me more and more with each passing day that, we're not gonna get out of our current situation without some serious mishaps. We got alot of violence laying in our future I believe.

War, civil war, martial law? Something of the nature of these is inevitable in the future. Now I compute through all the possible schemes of how the future can unfold in terms of violence. Someone attacks me, I do the buddhist thing and just die with the flow. Someone attacks me, I fight back and kill them. Someone threatens me, I try to love and subdue them, it works, or they just kill me. Now it seems to me all those are old world scenarios playing out, those scenarios have been on repeat for thousands and thousands of years.

But as of the 60's, there is a new scenario. Someone is approaching to attack and we just massively dose the entire area. Kids, women, children and all. Honestly I think the kids would probably handle it the easiest. This would be sort of like throwing a wild card into the situation, invoking aeris as an occultist might say (goddess of chaos). You know, instead of letting the typical violent currents take over, war and death run their course. Just dosing a whole area would present an occurrance of a situation that has never happened in history before. It would force a new flow to be birthed out of the situation. Personally I would entrust an area of war or martial law to the control of pure chaos before I would entrust it to any organization.

I think this has to happen. The eventual use of LSD as a means of defense. If everything goes to complete shit, it is the only 'new world' solution to such a situation. It is the only way to throw a wrench into the spokes of the old and forever repeated cycles of human violent interaction.

Given the nature of LSD and the whole psychic thing among it. I would really not be surprised if some cook out there has this same exact idea and is already well prepared. Well, all I can say, if a city falls to war or martial law. Then rogue cook, bring on the LSD rain, I'll stay in the area and guide people. :)

nar i agree, LSD could potentially be an excellent non-violent weapon to prevent ideals from turning people into effective fighting machines

but whoever has the power to make that much and use it for defense also has the power to drop it on an enemy town and take over while theyre tripping

the govt already tried thinkin about this but it is rather hard to administer to large groups of people because although it will absorb on contact, it will also get destroyed if it doesnt not contact someone. it wont sit around being toxic like poisons do

bombing a town with marijuana smoke would be a better idea.. Especially in the middle east. Less chance people will bug out. Give it a couple weeks, and they'll all just be standing around saying shit like Hey muhar, like what are we doin wit r lives man?

I dunno, it's kind of messed up any way you look at it.

Just the title goes against what LSD is supposed to be about, "LSD as a weapon". what does that tell you? whatever you are using as a weapon, it's still a weapon, your using the chemical in order to get other people to bend to your will or to get them to behave how you want them to. It's just wrong.

People are always gonna kill each other, even if you dose up the whole world. Actually, if you dose up everyone against their will, I'm pretty sure violence would sky rocket.

yeah, people that want to kill won't stop killing just because they unkowingly got dosed. they would just go into a crazy killing frenzy the entire trip.

lsd isn't going to change any kind of violent scenarios, it's still the same three or so scenarios that are going to happen that you listed in the OP.

even if lsd could effectively be used to stop a fight or battle or whatever, that still pretty much falls under the category of you fighting back. just because it doesn't kill them it doesn't mean that you aren't 'fighting back'. and well there are plenty of other viable non-lethal ways to fight back.

you have to fight back, we all have to conflict, this is in our nature. if there isnt enough conflict then people build it up in their minds and it causes bad thigns that way. we dont HAVE to kill eachother though. so may as well 'fight' with means which simply destroy humans abilities to be parts in a machine. trippin soldiers might start going on a killing frenzy.. id prefer them to do that over in their own camp than my village.... but of course.. their country is likely to get very angry about it and declare biological warfare

Acid, shrooms, mescaline, weed, and all other psychedelics are weapons. god's weapons against war...

they are here so people that are ready for the experiance can remind everyone that war isnt the answer. dosing someone secretly is just wrong, like torture for the mind.

    I see it this way.
Do to others what you would like done to you.
If I am approaching you with the intention to kill you, dose me hard. I definanetly need it.
This is what I'm seeing in the reverse here. I don't see it as a malicious intent, I see it as simply do to others what you would like done to yourself.

Now with that, I would not expect it to stop two battalions runnings into each other. However, what I would expect it to do is throw a curve ball of chaos in there. It would not be me that is getting people to do what I want, it would simply be chaos having its way with what it's occurring. It would escalate chaos to a breaking point. It would force a break in the typical flow.

I too agree but not as a weapon but as a new awakening. Sort of a new mass deprogramming like what ocoured in the 60s which would create a new modern breed
of hippys and anti war activeists to ballence the power of the ever strengthening
government. Now the question is how do you make that much then put it into the
water supply like the government did once to test it as a weapon? The second question is how much does it cost?

I don't think developing a bunch of activists and hippies is what we need.
We don't need a counter culture and culture. We just need a new culture, bring something new down on top of both the counter culture and culture.

The hippies and the activists did not have the right idea, otherwise it would have worked.

You can't force people to think/behave/do like you would, or how you would like. Things are the way they are because the majority of people are satisfied with how things are, and as long as that remains true, things will stay the way they are.

If you dose people up against there will to try to bend the world to your will, you are no better than what you wish to change.

It wouldn't be to change anything to my will.

It would be to change it to the will of chaos. No single person would have any real control on the outcome.

And doing such a thing wouldn't be to 'change', it would rather be to 'reset'. I have no idea what would happen or what would come out of such a situation if it occurred. All I know is that something new would come out of such a situation.

You're still dosing people against their will. Not cool.

then why would you do it? your will, will of chaos, seems to me they just both happen to coincide.

speaking of which, since when does chaos have will, and how do you know chaos even exists?

    semantics.

But. It's bullets vs LSD. Your incredibly more sane and 'cool' for using LSD rather than bullets.

Well no, chaos doesn't really exist, as everything is in a structure. But I could just say "the structure that is beyond my control or comprehension". Which yes, there obviously is much beyond my control or comprehension.

And while yes my will does coincide with the greater flow of chaos, simply because it has to as I am a subset of chaos. My will certainly is not chaos. Saying one person would represent the whole of chaos is simply absurd.

Why do it? Because when faced with the choice of me dying, or me killing somebody else. I think I'd prefer option C) dissolve everything and attempt to force the birth of a radically new outcome in such a situation. If it has gotten to the point of one side needing to kill the other side, then obviously something went wrong in that development and the reset button needs to be hit on all parties involved.

You gotta keep in mind here, this notion I'm presenting isn't the typical "lets dose everyone!". It's rather the, instead of old paradigm solutions to problems like military attack or whatever. Why not attempt something new. I see it as bullets vs LSD. LSD seems likes the obvious answer to me.

I know the US military ran tests on this idea in the 60's. They stopped because they concluded it was 'too unpredictable'. Which is exactly why I think it's the ideal solution. Even the user of it has no control on what exactly would happen.
