yea I think people have finally figured out that cold water is the way to go. I used to use hot water, but slowly moved up to barely luke warm. This place also says to not use boiling water. I know that there's supposed to be some amount of cooling done, or has anybody else heard otherwise?
Yes definatly use cold water. There are videos on YouTube that will show you how to master the cold water exetraction. Just search the term. Also be ready for a terrible tasting drink. At least that's my opinion. Goodluck! Milkdud39
I have never tried only cold water. You should take the above advice and try to find some recent videos. If I ever do it again I'll probably just use cold water, as I keep hearing that even warm water can destroy the goods.
The reason cold water is used, is because the APAP is almost completely insoluble in cold water while the the oxy (or hydro if ur dealing with vics) is fairly soluble. The warmer the water, the more soluble the APAP is. So cold water is needed to make sure that the minimal amount of APAP winds up in the end product. You can use warm water to do the extraction and then cool it down. This works, because by using warmer water, you allowing more of the oxy and some of the APAP to dissolve into the water. Then, when you cool it down, most of the APAP drops out of the solution because the APAP is not soluble anymore in the cold water. This allows you to decrease some of the losses that normally occur during the extraction.
Percocet 5/325's really aren't that bad to just eat. But they're BIG. I guess if you have a really low/no tolerance like me you wouldn't bother with the CWE) because 20-30mg's of oxy gets me high as fuck (1300-1950mg of paracetamol). That much paracetamol is not too dangerous, even daily. But if you're taking oxycodone daily you're going to build up a nice tolerance and Perc's aren't going to cut it as they come anymore.
