    over $1100...

definitely teh most ive ever spent in one day. but i bought a new tv for my fiancee and me (it was going to be an xmas gift from "santa" for us, but he was so picky about it being this that and the other thing that i dragged him out to look at them)... dragging him out was a good thing anyway cuz he wanted the 4 year warranty and i rarely bother with extended warranties personally

anywho... bought a 40" lcd 1080p toshiba tv for $900 (plus tax, enviro fee, and a portion of the warranty)... then went to (evil) walmart and spent nearly $70 on chrismas crap (mostly gifts, $15 for decorations for our tree cuz they were purdy)

and of course our tv wasnt in stock when we went to the store, so we dont even get the thinger til wednesday... spent $1050 on something i dont get to use for 3 more days >.>

Yeah but you ain't gonna buy stuff like that regularly.
S'different if say, you spent it on clothes. Or toothpaste.

My fiance has been begging for a TV then I let him get one and his guilty conscience wouldn't allow him to spend that much!

Kay, that sounds like a good deal! Are you and Chris getting excited for Christmas?

I spent 900 or so dollars once in one day, for two flights (one roundtrip and a oneway), that is about it.

I know exactly what you mean. John's family lives 3.5 hours away and mine 4.5... so we have to somehow visit everyone in a matter of four days.

I also hear ya on the antisocial thing... I saw a friend for the first time in six weeks which was kind of awkward and weird. Our friends don't relate to us anymore...its sad.

I always thought big TVs were ridicilous and unnecessary, up until we bought one. And now it just feels wrong to watch something on a small screen, haha.

heh, well, we play a lot of video games and it seems liek the text is getting increasingly smaller on them - made for bigger tvs than ours. but were giving away my old 27" tube tv that were replacing with the big shiny one to some friends of mine who have like an 18" tv or some tiny shit.

xmas is just so stupid busy, i want to crawl under a rock and play video games and ignore everyone >.> i think that kind of makes me a bad person. ah well

Are you still playing eve as well? :D

Ugh I know what you mean about christmas.. I HAVE to go home for christmas because if I didn't it would break my mum's heart. And yeah fair enough, I've not seen my family since April or May I think. So anyhow, I'm going home for 10 days, Tim's coming on the 23rd and we'll spend a couple of days with my family and visiting relatives, then we'll fly back to England on the 26th to have another christmas with his family and visit some more relatives.. ugh. And then I have a 8,000 word report and a plan for my final thesis to write as well.. It's supposed to be a holiday!! I hate christmas. :p

I have spent $169,000 in a day. I spent $17,000 in a day just about a year ago. It dont matter if its $100 or $100,000 it all hurts the same becuase you cant still roll around naked in it. :D
