Yeah my friends and I were talking about where we would want to move if we went to the states. Most said Colorado. I said Texas. But Id like Colorado too.. Im a mountains girl.
I can adapt to the weather. People! Some of the ones here are just fine. Though most seemed pretty stripped and devoid of what I think of as elementally good character traits. I've done country. The city would be nice. Somewhere reasonable though... money wise. A place with any sort of life would just be so invigorating to me.
Consider either Seattle or Portland..both northwest and good cities. Even coastal Northern California around Eureka would be cool.
Eugene, Portland... hell, what's in Montana? I just don't want to go to a big southern city... Though, I have thought about Chicago and St. Louis...
Bellingham is great, really a beautiful city, close to Canada to visit BC Seattle has loads of life, there are the docks, Pioneer Square, Mercer Island, Pike Place Market. There is some great clubs if that is your scene and even better underground bands. Spokane also has its flair, the falls, the malls, clubs, cruise scene, and then its close to loads of places to hunt, hike, fish and short jump to lakes. Tacoma, has some great offerings but the crime rate sorta trashes it out. Everett is pretty nice, waterfront walks, mountains just minutes away, clubs, rivers, indian villages, farms, ect.
OOOOOOO! Do I get a cool backpack? Moving to Canada from Arkansas... will I have to be quarantined for a bit?
No, we'll mostly just drop you in the middle of the multi-cultural rat race via helicopter and see how you fare.
So what is the deal with Ark? Just curious? I have driven through and it seen nice with cheap land but I have always wondered how it really is. The Northwest is nice but once you get away from the big cities the economy sucks and it rains and it rains. Colorado is nice.
i guess i'm working from some really old data, or maybe just comparing to SoCal. popularity ruins everything.
