My order of pods should be here 2m. I know the usual recipe for making the tea..but was wondering what the best way to curve the shit taste is!

    ANY SUGGESTIONS??
My Recipe that serves me well
my (1 serving) recipe consistes of 10-15 pods (depending on size) blended to a fine powder in the blender. 2 cups of bowling water (taken off the heat onc it starts to roll) add my blended pods with about 5 cap fulls of lemon juice, stir about 3-4 times evry 5-10 min then let it sit for 20-30min. I then use a cheese cloth to strain the tea. I usually just add ice and chugg and try to think happy thoughts haha

ALSO IF YOU HAVE A COOL RECIPE THAT WORKS BETTER FOR EXTRACTING THE ALKALOIDS THAN MY COMMON RECIPE PLEASE TELL!

    THX!!

you dont have to use boiling water, ice water works as well. Ive also heard that its better, because it extracts less of the pod matter. As far as taste, I don't find it to be that unpleasant, but you could try mixing it with honey or sugar, lemon and spices like cinnamon and cardamom.

Thx for the reply, I brewed my first batch about 2 hours ago, I used pineapple juice and some honey as u suggested and suprisingly it tasted half-way decent lol I used the hot water method first to make sure I get on the opiate train but i think I may try the ice water as well to just see the diffrence. well thx for the post.
    HAPPY BUZZING

15 pods all at once? Isn't that a lot? I have never done them, but I thought that you use like 5 pods for a batch? Maybe I am completely wrong though, someone shed some light please?

Depends on the size of the pod and your opiate tolerance. I use 10 large pods 10-15 med size pods.. makes 2 glasses I chugg 1 glass and wait a few hours and drink the other 1, 1 serving of 10-15 makes for an all day opiate ride. When I first started experimenting with poppy pods I used 5-8.. and found for me 10-15 is perfect. Every1 is diffrent and people should start small and wrk up to there desired effect.

ya, I dont really have an opiate tolerance, but a general tolerance due to size, so I use ten to twenty (medium) pods for a good high. Cold water is really the way to go, as it extracts more alkaloids, and less useless shit you have to drink. Its the same principle as a CWE. How many times do you filter PillMan? I usually do it twice, but Im afraid I may be wasting some by not doing the third filter. But then I think fuck it, they only cost like 75 cents a pod, who gives a shit.

The nature of the high seems different between hot and cold water extractions, for me. The cold water extractions seems to be more sedating, as if mostly the brew consists of morphine and codeine. When the extract is made with hot water, the results are more stimulating and seem to last a lot longer... so I'm tend to think that more of the thebaine is being extracted this way as well as all the codeine and morphine.

So I believe the hot water is the best method to get the maximum amount of alkaloids out. Some people enjoy the high from cold water better, though. It's been commented that it is more of a "clean" high, and that the hot water extraction produces more of a "dirtier" high... of course, thats just all matter of opinion. Try both and see which you like better. I have noticed that the cold water extraction is a lot easier to drink, because it is not as foul tasting as the brew made with hot water.

Also, like DaPillMan420 pointed out, it is very important to start low and work you're way up. Anymore than 3 medium sized pods is enough to make me sick for hours on end (when my tolerance is low). Individual tolerances and pod strength both vary considerably... its important to start low and work your way up.

I agree the hot water extraction seems to fk me up harder and longer.
And I usually just filter once through a cheese cloth.

I am a seasoned opiate user and just got my first order of pods three days ago. The first time I used 5 pods and attained a fairly nice level of euphoria that lasted quite long, although I was also snorting some H so its hard to say what feelings were from what for sure. This evening I made a second batch using about 8-10 medium to large pods. The onset was quicker ( about an hour so far and I already have a descent buzz!) I was wondering though, I only filter my tea once. For all of you multiple filterers out there, do you really notice a difference from the multiple filtrations??? Is it really worth the extra effort??
Also I've been using hot water and I'm gonna give cold water a try and let you all know what the difference is like for me, personally.
