Knowledge is power. And we all agree. However, Sarah Palin, apparently had no idea Africa is a continent and Turkey is a country. Having said that, how come she has more power than you and me?! It's all politics.
It was not debunked. It was denied. big difference. McCain staffer was mad at her, so we have to question his/her motivation. Sarah has something to lose, so we also question hers. So both being equal, we don't know if it is true. The problem? It's believable. I think what's been debunked is the idea that knowledge is power, which was arrived at indirectly - ignorance is weakness, so knowledge must be power, right? Well, not quite.
I stand corrected - denied not debunked. I do believe that knowledge is power, however, a person's knowledge can be flawed by misinformation.
A person could also be a troglodyte and yet make it almost to the top... Perhaps more a sign that her supporters lack knowledge. And yet for 8 years they had so much power...
You're joking, right? With Obama surrounding himself with Clintonites, all Pro-WAR; with Rahm on record as being Pro-Mandatory-18-25-year-olds-ParaMilitary-training; etc. etc. etc. do you really think that The Powers That Be have lost anything??? Go look at Obama's "proposed policies" at on the issues dot com and compare them with the New, Improved Policies that he is contemplating. He surrounded himself with crooks, in Chicago, and he is surrounding himself with crooks, in D.C. (Joe Biden for VP??? 'Nuf said.) Quite frankly, the only Change i see happening is the Change he's making in his address. But i'm sure that, as a Knowledgable Supporter, you knew all that...
