The bathrooms in my moms house are incredibly small-you could only fit one or two old people in them maybe 3 if you stick one in the shower. Besides I like old people except when I am behind them on the freeway or in line at the grocery store.

ask them to tell stories about how people got along with each other when they were younger if they ever did. at the very least this will make them happy: and what is more useful to "produce" then happiness?

on the other hand if they are always going on about how things were when they were younger, find them someone else their own age to set them infront of like furbies, and watch (or just let) them amuse each other.
