I still have, but havent watched in quite a long time, a video of one of the Music Awards show, where Guns and Roses, and Nirvana played at the same show. I cant remember who played first, but there were words from Axl who put down kurt and his band, and Kurt who taunted Axl while doing his show. I thought it was pretty childish of both, but it sure was worth a couple of laughs. Only other thing I remember was when the bass player of Nirvana tossed his guitar in the air, when he went to catch it it hit him on his head, lol. Thats all I can remember, will have to dig the video out one of these days and view it again. One other thing. Slash's Snakepit sucked. I got to see them open for AC/DC many years ago, and Slash totally sucked. I really like GnR and Slash with the group, but I think that anything seperate from that group just didnt hit it. They were excellent together, but apart they just didnt have it.
Eh, I like some industrial metal, and I still think it sucked. It all sounds extremely generic and it's just not well composed. There's just way too much noise in many of the songs. There's no real focus. It's sorta like listening to four similar songs at the same time all at the same volume.
Duff has a band of his own, I seen them play at Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma. His band sucked and he yelled at me. haha.
Slash has always been a sloppy player,saw them 3 times on the Use Your Illusion tour and he was probably too drunk to play his own solo's right. last time I saw him was with Velvet Revolver and that whole band looked like a parody of a rockband to me.
I seen on Myspace that Axl Rose was going to have "listening events" for his overly hyped ten million dollar record that came out 15 years to late. "Listening Events" lol
