i have a slight problem, i hav changed my lighting from 18/6 to 12/12 2 days ago the timer didnt wrk so my babies hav been basking under 600 w hps light for 2 days solid light without any dark period:confused wil this affect my grow ? i hav replaced the timer and double checked it 2 make sure its workin, now its set for 12/12, i hope everythn is goin 2 b ok, any response wud b mucho grasias.
shit happens.. You might have stressed them. But they are fine if they didnt burn and dry out.. Ive had this happen a few times. No biggie..
Back in the olden days I was told that going from 18/6 to 24/0 for a couple of days before inducing flowering would result in more buds. Always did it that way.
as long as they didnt dry out the lights could stay on forever, in a accident.. one thing that would really sucxz if you had a auto water and you recieved water and no light for days... They would drown =(. if the timer would say not come back on.. Continious light and water.. No problem till they run into lights from over gowth.. Burning and high rate of mortality to tops and hermorphidites in some strains, others may not be effected.. Flipping lighting back to 18/6 or 24 during flowering will turn all bud sites into new growth.. Takes longer to harvest. Additional weight definitely needs supported.. Remember too thats while you do this again plants will still be in vegetation when reverted to flower the 2nd time this will cause major weight in uncontrolable green vegetation as they come into flower again.. You have just turned this 4 month grow cycle into 6.. if your trying to flip rooms fast this is a major screw up/...imo.
