Pretentious signature thing's

Is anyone else sick of the huge brightly colored often moronic gaudy signatures that appear at the bottom's of certain peoples post's? (not calling anyone out.)

There is just something that annoys me when I see a post that read's something similar to.

" I lost my key's"

Followed by a huge 10 by 10 picture of what they consider to be the meaning of life.

Can't we just keep our signatures to a couple lines of wisdom that you keep with you in life?

A gaudy signature is the equivalent of 24 inch rim's on a Dodge Neon on the internetz in my opinion.

 

But my dome is a lot cooler than 24 inch rims.

And the best wisdom you'll ever get.

 

Well I suppose there are exceptions to the "pretentious signature theory" ;P

I think it should be made clear that I never said I had anything against pictures of pretty girls for use as signatures...

So no one agrees with me in saying that some signatures are a bit distracting to some of the conversation in any of the forums?

 

Not that i can think of off the top of my head, i think most of them are interesting.

you have the option to disable images - so all you see is the web link of the image. Go to Quick Links > Edit Options >

Not really, I don't consider those particular signatures to be guady.

Just turn off signatures in the options menu.

User CP -> Edit Options -> Thread Display Options

 

Dammit you ruined my evil scheme. I was going to alternate Jackson Pollock and FauvePainter's works in my sig. Thanks a lot.
