or for a lack of understanding of the aura..i saw something.

awhile ago i made plans with a friend for a daytrip out in the desert near a trail we like to hike. on the way there we stopped in the brush to roll a few joints and were already starting to peak so we decided to explore where we were instead of where we usually end up.
we ended up climbing a mountain next to us. we found a purple ribbon tied around a long ago exploded knot of a balloon tangled in a bush and removed it and kept heading to the top until the jumping cactus got too thick and started off towards roads we weren't familiar with to see where they went. but what actually happened is we drifted to a wash and walked up it for awhile until we noticed rangers were watching us from a mountaintop.
we weren't sure why they were watching us and we weren't doing anything wrong..but once i was aware of them it was like i could feel an eye on me and it was really unsettling...so we hiked back the way we came and tried to get into spots out of their line of sight.
we were heading back to the truck and my friend made out a piece of a building far out across the desert..so small you could really only see the corner of a rooftop. it was in the direction of the trail we had come to hike so we headed off that way and parked at the trailhead..but instead of taking it we went back out into the desert to find the building. it wasn't far..maybe 5 minutes from the parking lot..but it was sunken and secluded and you'd never see it if someone hadn't shown it to you. it was beautiful.
it was like an abandoned concert venue..just not fucking huge. there was a little amphitheatre which seats built into a hill..all overgrown with brush. the people that owned this place hadn't used it in a long time. there were empty gazebos and benches for sitting and circles for standing..rocks and paths to take...brick ovens...grills. there was even electricity and running water (my friend found a pipe and tried it out and water flowed out but like 8 nuts fell out of the pipe too..we figured a squirrel must have been storing them there).
the place was quiet and comfortable...we hung out there most of the day and smoked up and just kind of experienced the place from all the different areas it had to hang out in. the thing i enjoyed the most was the cliff the place was at the base of. my friend told me it was a huge volcano once..bigger than mt. saint helen's (sp?) and had covered the earth in ash once (or soemthing)..and the volcano had left the strange patterns in the cliff i was seeing. it had this dripping melted look to it..and so many holes and recesses..it looked like a thousand mouths screaming..and i named it the wall of echoes. when i thought about the place being a huge volcano once..it felt amazing to be walking around there.
when the sun started setting we headed back to the truck to take off. every time we come to this place..on the drive out there is always a cow in the same spot...and we always stop to look at it. i think my friends just want to scare it but i give it a buncha compliments. of course the cow ignores my attemtps at flattery and walks away into the desert..but it's still fun.
right after that..when we were takin off down the road again..there was a tarantula crossing...and my friend slammed on the breaks and got out to check it out. he walked up to it planning to pick it up i guess (he says he's done this alot) but the thing was agitated as fuck and so he didn't even try. he pulled out his camera to take a couple pictures and that's when i saw it. it was like this transclucent blue image of him standing superimposed six inches above the him i could see...like a holographic image for lack of better description. i thought at first it was some shit on the window fucking with my eyes..and as fast as i was aware of it and trying to make sure it was there..it was gone. that was awesome.

sounds like an awesome experience man. i haven't been to the desert near here in 2 years and im trying really hard to go in december.
i think most people's aura is that blue or turqoise color under normal conditions.

people have distinct shades when i take mushrooms. sometimes it matches what they are wearing and they look really amazing.

lol yeah it wasn't like a water faucet...it was a pvc type pipe that had been run along the ceiling and just left there connected to nothing with a valve switch. it was a really great place and i'd love to bring some music back out there and hang out sometime in the near future.

i was never sure whether to believe in auras..i had read so much interesting stuff but it all seemed to parrot the same minimal information and never really give any backstory on how we discovered these things and the validity to the assumption of their existence. things like that matter to me..because i feel like a lot of the people around me choose what they believe in in a very fickle manner..like spirituality hopping. i would want to know all about something..and not just some of what it means. though through the past year or so...if i believe in anything...it's my feelings and imagination...and this experience was a very profound eye-opener.
