Has anyone experienced negative side effects thtough repeated (daily) use of 2c-i over the course of 5-6 days? It seems that a reverse tolerance is realized through day 3 (as noted in many reports) with a steep tolerance through days 4 through 6. In similar experiments using LSD, HPPD was realized and remained through several months (if not permanent to some extent). I was curious if anyone has similar or other experiences. I am also curious to hear about similar substances, again when used for 4-6 days in a row. Edit: I understand the importance of spreading experiments throughout the course of a year with several months between. Given the seemingly gentle effects of 2c-i, it was desired to understand the mental effects of repeated use. In short, there are no obvious side effects other than a marked tolerance to the point where a normal dose goes unnoticed. Regards...
I've never used any of the 2c's for more than 3 days in a row. I did use 2c-i a lot during the initial "honeymoon" phase when I first got into everything, however, the most I ever used was 3 or 4 times a week for two weeks or so. The only things I noticed were tolerance that took many months to fully disappear and some hppd like effects that lasted for several weeks. Nothing too extreme or bothersome. I am interested to here more of this reverse tolerance you experienced through the third day, if you don't mind.
20mg ± 3mg/evening Evening 1: +++ with CEV Evening 2: +++ with OEV & CEV Evening 3: +++ and 1/2 equal to evening 2 with 1/2 hour period (T+3hr) where ++++ seemed but a moment away Evening 4: ++ Evening 5: + Evening 6: + (believed more stimulation and placebo) Synopsis: I believe the experiment was indeed useful despite the apparent waste of material beyond evening 3. I will be returning to an interval of about 6 - 8 experiments per year. Note: My only recent confirmed (perceived) ++++ was achieved with a similar amount of 2c-e following M1 at T+3hr. The only other ++++ events that have been realized involved festival settings (read rave/bluegrass outdoor events) with a cornucopia of substances. Thoughts?
I have only done 2c-e more than once a week (4 actually). Tolerance and some visual disturbances (HPPD-like) were present at the end of the week, took a month to fully recover. Methylone. I am very interested in methylone/butylone + 2c-e, going to give it a try soon.
I currently have HPPD from use of acid, and I thought that it would never go away because it lasted so long with the strength that it had. At this point, I can notice the HPPD very slowly diminishing from not doing psychedelics for a little while.
This reverse tolerance that you noticed with 2c-i is strange to me. I have dosed 3 days in a row before on 2c-b (never with 2c-i), and I never noticed any reverse tolerance. Actually, each day was roughly equivalent in effects even though I used the same dose each day. I did notice that I was becoming extremely comfortable with the experience such that it started to loose its novelty on the third day. So I guess I would say that I developed a mental tolerance to the effects, but hadn't notice much physical tolerance... if that makes sense. The next time I have 3 consecutive days free I might try taking 2c-i each day to see what I experience. Tolerance to 2c's, for me, takes a lot longer to develop. It seems that I have to trip many times close together to notice any tolerance, and once it's there it takes a long time (months) to go away.
I would have to agree when experimenting with 2c-e. The (punctuated) OEV's present with 2c-e (as well as realized body buzz) seem to persist at a constant level and then suddenly evaporate. If memory serves, 4-5 experiments over a two week period (actual interval not documented) seem to produce identical results with a subsequent (6th) experiment demonstrating very steep tolerance. At this point, it typically takes several months (3+) to reset. With that, I have performed similar 2c-i experiments while on vacation several years ago. Four days at the beach... relaxed setting with (or perceived) reverse tolerance. Insight... introspection during that time was invaluable and brought me back to "the daily grind" with a renewed spirit and perspective. Be safe. "A mind in motion remains in motion."
With extensive psychedelic experiences in the early 90's, I would have to say the bulk of my HPPD subsided after 5-6 years. Remaining effects either due to to that period in my life or more recent experiments involve haloing and trailing. Interesting enough, trailing is most prevalent when sitting at a red light and looking through passing traffic. In actuality, I look at my situation regarding HPPD as a necessary (albeit not-undesirable) side effects of the experiences gained.
If only obtaining x were as easy. Early 90's rave scene in central Florida... Aahz... The Edge... Firestone? That was a horse of a different color.
