anyone near Penland?

I am planning on moving to NC, probably around the Ashville area around the end of next year. I live in Kentucky now, but I am going to go to Penland School of Crafts as soon as I can possible afford to. I found the school online and I am in looooove with it. So my husband and I and our little girl are going to use our tax money in the spring to take a trip and see the sites. Just gonna find out what everything is like, ya know. I'm so excited, I just wish I could find some people from the area to talk to beforehand.

I basically want to go to an arts and crafts school. Not really a regular college or an art college because they don't really the "hands on" type of experience I'd like to experience. I found Penland online. We plan to visit Asheville and Penland in the spring of 2009. I can't wait!
