So, the consensus here is that 4-5 trips from extracting from San Pedro in liquid form is just about enough. They were fantastic, make no mistake, but the stuff is downright disgusting, I don't care if you're mixing it with Angel Tears and Dreams. So now, preparations are being made to extract the mescaline by powderizing it and then placing it in gelatin caps - this is no doubt going to be a tedious process, but hopefully it will yield results. Any general advice on the process would be appreciated, but the primary question is regarding dosage: If the powdered form of the San Pedro is being placed into 400mg gelcaps (assuming they won't be at full capacity,) then roughly how many of the 400mg gelcaps should be taken to reach threshold? I'm guessing like... a lot. But every time I try to do the math here, my head hurts. Thanks in advance.
i don't really mind the taste of the tea the more i brew. even though when its really concentrated it can make you puke just by tasting, you got to learn how to not boil off as much water and it wont taste as bad. im confused? are you planning on doing an actual extraction, or just eating gelcaps with powdered pedro? just eating gelcaps full of dried cacti isn't really an extraction, just a method to horrible stomach cramps and bloating from dried material reabsorbing water in your stomach. to trip off dried pedro material you would need at least 50-75 grams. that's around 150 400mg gelcaps. stick with fresh cuttings and boiled tea. dried material threatens the legal status of the cactus.
