i'm confused. it's a multimedia pc that has strange curves and colors? how is that new? last i checked, that was a little something called a "mac"
$1700 for a non-upgradeable system running XP, loaded with spyware and a built-in MLM viral marketing scheme to snag your "friends"? No Thanks... And what exactly is "Hip-E" about buying into this consumer trash? A real hippie would cobble together a system from discarded components so as not to increase the burden on the planet, no?
This is one of the first machines to embrace the worst os, mix it with the least 'useful' hardware, and mix together the best spyware and 'control's...notice it also has an 'internet community' maybe its isp is trying to model after the number one AOhelL
Well, on the bright side, these things will be available on eBay in a year or so for a couple hundred bucks, once the "early adopters" find out how badly they got shafted. Certainly not worth $1700, but with a bit of hardware hacking and installing Linux, it might make a decent cheap internet terminal....
That is the fugliest machine I have ever seen. But looking at the website, I can see who their target market is (children). Makes more sense when you consider that.
