are you still paranoid if you know you're paranoid?

it's so weird when you know you're being paranoid, but you're still paranoid.

for example, i was rather blazed the other night and went into a small coffeeshop with a friend; within 10 minutes i was really fucking paranoid about a particular guy sitting across the room who appeared (in my mind) to be watching us.

half of me was aware of the fact that i was high and being ridiculous, but i couldn't shake the really freaked feeling, and ended up leaving after only 20 minutes or so.

since nobody else replied yet, i just want to say that i feel for you and all paranoia sufferers, both chronic and acute. the important thing isn't whether he's looking at you...it's if you think you've done something wrong, and if you give a damn what he thinks. oh, and yeah, i call it paranoia even if i'm aware of it.

I don't take any kind of drugs but sometimes I get paranoid that people are starring at me. Sometimes it's because they are but other times it's me having an inferiority complex and thinking people are out to get at me. Understandable I guess when I've taken a lot of shit over the years from assholes. I've often felt like a bit of an oddball (for want of a better word). Not cos I'm a seriously odd person, it's just i'm different from the run of the mill types of the same age and so some people don't get me! But it no longer bothers me that I'm different as I know deep down that I'm a good person.

Paranoia is self induced if you can eliminate the belief that it is induced by a physical or paranormal thing, than you can eliminate the visual paranoia that occurs whilst viewing or experiancing the visual or paranormal source. This with time and concentration can be achieved.

    left-winged-babe74D,

For some unknown reason we all seem to have the ability to know when someone is watching us, it's really uncanny

While it is a form of ESP modern science just isn't willing to accept it yet.

i'm always slightly nervous about seeing a face appear in my dark bedroom window at night. not that this really has anything to do with paranoia, but i thought i'd share all the same.

Reminds me of a time my mom was telling me about some murder that took place a few days before this incident close to our house. That very day she had to go back to work. Soon it started to storm a lot, and then the lights went out....

Man I was scared out of my mind.

Every few years I'll look out the window and see this thing staring back at me..it stands up like a person and looks like a cat. Freaks me the fuck out every single time. I know I must be hallucinating from exaustion or something but damn does she look real.

As a matter of fact, you don't NEED another slice of pie. I don't care how much Ginger, Gramma put in it. I know it's GOOD. But, put it down.

It's pretty normal to experience problems with others possible thoughts about yourself

It's a pure expression of an egotrip thought (or group(s) of thought(s))

Those are interesting when you learn to use them.

What could be pretty scary is that paranoid persons may usually trust,
their own line of thought because they are rational with what is witnessed.

They should try to make a real difference with what is percieved by the eyes and what was build up by mind.

They should try do lie to their inner voice and show themselves thru their eyes they are wrong in what is believed in mind

Paranoia could also be dangerous because people can easily get into a egotrip in which they start to consider everything what their mind build up as being true.
    Wrong and dangerous path

Dont let your mind hide what is going on behind your eyes in the now.

(I mean with people, consider them as conscient of themselves beings, so they become all free people, they are choosing what they are choosing to show you, and hopefully you are doing the same)

It is a very beginning and you should not refer to that long time. Cuz you will certainly find ways to improve that basis.

I put the word "free" in a strange way:
Here it means you do not lead people to think what they think. They are free to experience the will of thinking it. Do not forget how the process of thoughts works.

You have the will, which implies freedom to do so

(then if u not free, what's holding you from thinking what you want think?) Is it linked to the egotrip of the beginning? Possibly

    Love
