Whats the deal with this taxachusettes thing, my investigation of income tax rates show many states with a higher tax rate. Massachussetts has a flat rate tax of about 5.6% while some states go as high as 8%.

Liberal congressmen always have that tax and spend policy branded on them by the media, and Massachussetts is the definition of liberal Democratic congressmen. But the north east in general pays the highest taxes in the country, but I remember it was in the paper around when income taxes were due they did an article and it showed Connecticut actually pays the highest taxes in the country.

Because all the rednecks who live in those states can't read, much less count. So they don't know how much they're paying....

    hahahaha...you've got a point there ;)

If you make a high income, it looks like Mass. would be the place to live.

haha, North Taxolina... :D I'll start sayin that now, tax is pretty high here. Ya know, it'd help if they'd let us have a lotto. all the states around us do, but the motherfuckin baptists... tsk tsk... [IMG] damn backwards state.

While it is true that we have high property and sales taxes, our insurance and price of gas is way cheaper than most northern states. I guess it all balances out...

God...listening to my southern baptist family (pretty much all but me, my bro and my parents) bitch about how we were all pretty much gonna go to hell if we got the lotto...wooo boy. But yeah I pretty much always have the EXACT same thing to say as you about SC too...exact.
