I live in a place were there is a lot of wealthy people designer store everywhere.. We have 2 new malls that are all designer stores I have a feeling they will be ghost malls next year. Already some many stores are empty with For Lease signs in the windows. It is like a Steven King movie where some invisible force is making all the commercial stores disappear.
Interesting though, I have a friend, my honey's ex-wife actually, who sells and creates magnetic jewelry. She goes to flea markets, street festivals, craft fairs and the such....her business is doing better and better and better. It just amazes me. She has wads of cash each time I see her.
That would be interesting but doesn't fit her persona in the least. I've watched her work.....people are magnetized to her personality and she knows her product.
Thrift stores are doing great, so is Wal-mart, people will always buy stuff it might just be cheap stuff.
Oh....but I just went to the thrift store this morning. Got some NineWest shoes for $3. Price of the tag doesn't always signify cheap stuff though I cannot remember when I went to Wal-mart last, on purpose that is. I have stopped in when traveling and you have to get that one thing you forgot.
i am a little sad about old navy. i've gotten some really fucking awesome kids' clothes there on their clearance racks. holy shit, best clearance racks ever. i bought my daughter a faux sheepskin coat that's damned near indestructible for $3. pants for $2, all kinds of shit.
Yup I forgot about him. Never mind all is gonna be alright !! Maybe he can make Hillary Secretary of Malls. Peace
