And I am so bummed....one of the best drummers ever...

 

Yup He was super. Been hard on Jimi Hendrixs drummers of late Buddy Miles died not long ago too.

Damn! That's the sad thing about legends, they get old and die like the rest of us ;( RIP Mitch.

I almost had to cry when I watched Blue Wild Angel, Hendrix live @ isle of Wight. What a drummer, what a band! This is way better then any kind of blues band. It's better as the Bob Marley tribute I saw yesterday, stoned. It's just great music!

 

least he didnt die young, like Asmodean said- but my heart sank a little when I found out.
