Anyone here have an IUD/IUS (Mirena, etc)? How awkward or painful does it feel to get one? Are there any drastic side effects?
I just got a copper T and I love it so far. No side effects, no pills to take. However-Im not gonna lie. IT HURT getting it put it. I 've never had kids and that's supposed to make it worse but I found it very painfull. Im still glad i did it thou.
I got the IUD (mirena) about 5 weeks ago and the pain was horrible! i am still cramping and bleeding but the peeps up at pp say it is normal... it sucks so far... i wouldn't reccomend it at this point, but who knows... maybe in a couple of months i will feel better...
