My girlfriend's circle of friends has a theory that when tripping you're able to detect when someone else is on acid. Apparently it's some sort of glowing. I've not experienced this myself, but I've had someone declare that I'm on acid after they'd looked at the back of me for a few seconds. He looked fucked up on something - I can only assume he was tripping too. What're your opinions on the existence of an LSD radar?
Yeah, the experience I had was with my group of girls were all tripping and I had noticed that Amy had been glowing. I thought it was just the acid side effect when someone really positive was near me (as it was my first time at the time) But a few minutes later Sam bought up the question. "Does anybody else see this glow around amy?" Julia and I both agreed and I was just stunned. Other times I had noticed by expressions on other peoples faces (at outdoor partys) and just this warm feeling I'd recieve when near other trippers. And of course when we experienced that guy on acid who we didn't even look at in 7/11 who just blurted out that we had taken some.
yea, chicks are pretty stupid sometimes. I rememer when I was tripping with some chicks, one girl said if you touch an animal while you trip that animal will trip. The things these girls come up with, are absolutely retarded sometimes.
I'm not yet convinced that men are any different. Thanks for playing though. Perhaps someone will find your contribution worthwhile...
LOL:smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:LOL i can't really tell when people are tripping, but i can tell when people are spiritual. which alot of the time has to do with them doing psychadelics. like i can look at a person and tell that they know how things really are... i guess. kind of hard to describe the specific profile, but when someone has it, depending on how much they are in touch with the source, i can pick them out of a crowd.
When someone is laying on the beach with their head in a sand castle yelling "HAIRPIECE", I can always tell they're dosed.
I hope you realize you've just made yourself look like a complete ass. From multiple angles. This is one of the most ignorant posts I've seen here... in so many ways. I can't say any more, or my brain will tie itself in a knot, so I'm going to just ignore it and hope that you come to realize what a dumbass remark it was on your own. I don't think it's always a "tripper" radar, but people who are tripping or have tripped can be a lot more perceptive of high beings. I'm basically trying to say what Desos said .
Listen when i did Acid at 13 and I was watching the basement melt for half the morning, While listening to the rest of the residents above.. I was convinced the mailman brought acid to everyone.. if only this was true..
Yeh its pretty hard to say sometimes, because totally normal people sometimes seem like they are tripping on something When tripping and Ive bumped into other people tripping a couple of times... well you can sort of tell that they are 'in on' something. that their world is extending beyond the walls and words around them. sober people seem to be randomly running about and looking about but they are really responsive to all of the specific things around them and thats all they seem to be taking notice of. people who are tripping seem to 'notice' a whole bunch of other things. and not take any notice of others
Firstly, I dont think it's fair to make fun of peoples beliefs while they are high on lsd. Whether they are female or male. You can come up with some pretty silly stuff that is funny to laugh about later when sober. Some people you just have this feeling, or see their face and body movement and know. Big eyes, massive droopy grin that is enhanced while on it. If you speak to them they understand you better and you understand them better. And yes Amy was glowing, but we were all tripping balls and I was with her when she took it so I already knew! I'm sure others have experienced the same thoughts/seen the same things as other trippers at the same times?
yea, i feel that i can tell when people have had it or not. just by hearing what they have to say, the way they act..they feeling i get by hanging out with them. its just straight up i get this feeling like "this person knows." or "this person just has no idea what the hell is going on". might sound weird, but its just a feeling i get from people. they either have or they haven't. they know or they don't. simple.
Yea if you can talk to somebody about clouds and a tear comes to their eye then you know they know, or they are knowing. On the spiritual tip, I get that all the time. Just in a glance, a passing, the wave of love that follows behind what you see as them will mesh with whatever your assemblage point is doing and you will know, they saw you the same exact way and you know all you can really to is bless life.
Yes, 100% on point. Someone else said it, and it's been talked about on here before. In my opinion, this is by far the greatest, most beautiful thing about the psychedelic experience. I think if the experience affects you in some way of bringing the 'truth' to your eyes, that you do hold a certain something with you after...I just don't know how to describe it otherwise, but I do feel it myself and it's a warm, humbling feeling when in the presence of others who have the 'twinkle'...
I'm gonna write out a bit from Be Here Now, it's exactly what we're talking about: Now, up until then, I had found this interesting thing that I don't think I could have labeled until that moment. Once, when I had met Gesha Wangyal at Freehold, N.J., I knew I was beeting a being who "knew", but I couldn't get to it because I wasn't ready, somehow. We were very close-we loved each other extraordinarily, but I hadn't been able to really absorb whatever I needed to absorb. Now there was this young fellow and again, I had the feeling I had met somebody who "Knew". I don't know how to describe this to you, except that I was deep in my despair; I had gone through game, after game, after game, first being a professor at Harvard, then being a psychedelic spokesman, and still people were constantly looking into my eyes, like "Do you know?" Just that subtle little look, and I was constantly looking to their eyes-"Do you know?" And there we were, "Do you?" "Do you?" "Maybe he..." "Do you...?" And there was always that feeling that everybody was very close and we all knew we knew, but nobody quite knew. I don't know how to describe it, other than that. And I met this guy and there was no doubt in my mind. It was just like meeting a rock. It was just solid, all the way through. Everywhere I pressed, there he was!
my dog knows when i am on drugs.... when i am high, he leaves the room when i am on morning glories, he cant give a shit (normal) when i do shrooms he usually looks at me odd, then leaves when I smoke salvia, he comes and nuzzles me (and one time, tried to swap his mind with my own-that was kinda creepy)
