It's all open ground. Legally there's no problem. Morally is a different thing altogether. After all, what are morals? Just a set of man-made imaginary rules. What is morally abhorrent to one would be perfectly acceptable to another. As we are all aware, there are those that would consider it morally unacceptable for 2 men to be masturbating together, regardless of age. However, the age factor is always a question, and should be viewed not as an absolute value, but proportionately. Remember those days at school when you were 14, and those aged 15 & 16 were in a totally different generation - the 'Big Boys'. In the first year of life that 1 or 2 years would be considered as having the seniority of an entire lifetime, as they grow older, though, the proportionate difference lessens, so the given example of an 18 year old & a 56 year old would in a few years be 21 & 59, which already seems a vastly different set of circumstances. Perhaps the coupling question should really refer the the percentage difference in ages, rather than the number of years - assuming that both parties are of consensual age, of course.
