people are always saying that grey squirrels kill and drive out the red squirrels. it is not true and culling the greys is not going to solve anything. red squirrels were already declining before the greys were introduced. the greys thrived because they can adapt better. I have heard that it was the red ones who were the most aggressive and the greys just fought back, naturally. I am all for encouraging native species, but not at the cost of other species already established here. if you know how to help stop the madness of culling them, please try and do anything you can. thank you. blessings xxx xx x
lol aww sweet pic i love it when you show them a nut and they stand up, put their hand on their chest as if to say "me? you want to give it to me? really?" love them xxx
cute.. yes, Where I live there isnt many that will come to you. But I know of parks that they will.. One place I seen the most come to you, was in South Carolina.. Ha I never had so much fun with them till then, I wish they were as plentyful where I live.. But there is a few that give you a show..
you must have a little dick to be able to fuck a grey squirrel. Myself, I like to fuck grey elephants..
No way, save the reds before it is too late. Culling the greys will help the native ones as they both compete for the same food. Why protect a species which is not under threat? Would it not be wiser to look out for the one that is!
freaking grey squirrels, man, they're INFESTING denver and surrounding areas and looking all kinds of nasty and diseased.
I love the grey squirrels. We have barely any reds here anyway, so that debates out of the window. Ive never seen a red. Seen plenty of greys. And theyre cute. And its always a pleasure to see them
Well weve had a good population here for a good few years now, Ive never seen a sick one (Im supposing a lot of sick squirrels just die or are picked up by peoples dogs or something, I duno) and we are not overpopulated, its stayed stable. If anything I would like to see more, were lucky we have a reasonable amount in this area but in a lot of UK locations there are none, or certainly not enough to spot them while youre out walking, which is a shame
in exmouth theres a garden walk way, really nice like, and the greys just come up to you, like within a foot of you, and literally wait for you to give them food. its cute, but also highly annoying. personally im all for culling the greys.. maybe not all, but at least to try and control them. i defo prefer the reds.
in denver they're just horrific. we live north of denver in a semi rural community. they're very healthy and cute. in denver, they scare me. they look rabid. there definitely needs to be some sort of cull.
