it could potentially work, but not very well if its bound up in the fungal mass. you'd want to make an extremely potent and highly concentrated mushroom tea and use it as an enema. the substances in the mushrooms should more likely than not be easily absorbed in this manner, but not the mushrooms themselves.

i have done something similar on a single occasion with DPT HCl, because it is not usually orally active, it cannot be smoked unless its in freebase form, and it is ungodly painful to insufflate. so i mixed some with a small quantity of water and took it this way. it had a profound effect, but it was uncomfortable. i dont recommend it.

honestly, the bulk of the nausea is from the fact that mushrooms aren't easy to digest. the rest comes from taking it too fast to adjust as it comes on.

you'd be better off making a tea and sipping it over the course of a half an hour. taking some ginger with it will work miracles.

a mushroom tea enema would probably work, but it sounds really pointless and unnecessarily uncomfortable to me. i don't recommend it.

ive never had success with mushroom tea, ive never tried it, but my friend has tried it twice while i was there, and it didnt do shit..!! probably because he boiled the fuckin shit out of it.. and im sure psilocybe,psilocin or whatever it is, like most chemicals has a maximum temp it can handle

well if you want any success, trying it would be a logical first step

psilcin, psilocybin, and baeocystin are the threen main tryptamines found in magic mushrooms, and boiling the mushrooms is a great way to reduce the potency. especially if you boil them for a long time. but boiling them at all is a terrible idea.


i used to grow my own mushrooms, and i've only actually eaten mushrooms maybe 2-5 times, whereas instances of me using mushroom tea are about 10 times this number, if not higher. trust me, if you make the tea properly there is virtually no loss in potency.
