Well I'm a pretty experienced smoker and such, but here in Arizona there's not a plentiful amount of good hash, so I've never had the opportunity to smoke my own (I smoked some out of a couple joints before, but that's it). Usually the best stuff we can get is kief here, but lately there's been some hash floating around. Anyhow, let me get to my point: What's your favorite way to smoke hash? What's your most used method for smoking hash? How much does one normally use? I've heard of a lot of methods to smoke hash and I really want clarification. I'd really prefer a bottle technique or just putting it in cigarettes/joints over something like using hot knives, just out of personal preference. Anyhow...any comments?
ok, here's how i smoked hash when i had it. I mixed it in w/ my weed and smoked it out of pipes, bongs, joints, basically all the normal ways to smoke. If you dont have any buds to mix w/ your hash i would highly reccommend it, as the bud burns easier and can get the hash started. If you are smoking straight hash you need to get it as hot as you can till it starts smoking, a pipe should work just fine for this
It all depends on the potency of the hash.. If it's melt-hash(more potent) then only use small amounts at time, and just use a glass pipe with a screen.. (To test this, take your hash out and put up your lighter close to the hash, but dont let the flame hit. If you see it bubbling/melting, it's a very good indicator of potency) If it's just normal hash that burns away like kief(most commercial hash, less potent) then mix it with buds in a bowl, should spice up the high nicely.. Or sometimes I use a hookah for less potent commercial hash.. I'm sure people will say mix it w/ Tobacco, but I'd never do it.. It does keep the bowl roasting, but it's not necessary with good product.. Also, cured/dried buds grinded and mixed with hash will do just as good a job as tobacco, and taste better and get you higher Usually I'm smoking home-made fully melting hash anyways, so I just use a tiny bit at a time and take it from there.. A few melt hits and I'm higher than I get off of a bunch of buds
Hrm...interesting. The hash I ended up getting is really nice and dense. When we cooked it up, the hash seemingly multiplied its own size. We put it on top of a bowl on my friend's bong and ripped it w/ some nice nugs we bought and I got high. In light of getting hash, though, I think I'm going to save it and not smoke for a couple of days. My tolerance is at that point where I can feel normal at any stage of highness from any types of weed. It's all because of the influx of kief around here lately as well as many portland natives coming and fixing the quality of AZ buds
ok i only ever smoke hash and i usually use a water bong as pipes can be pretty harsh on ur throat. If were smokin outdoors or we cant get a decent bong then we usually just mix the hash with some baccy in a spliff but u gotta watch out for the hot rocks!! aka blint burns aka bombers aka aww shit man! look at the fukin hole, hahahahahaha! Yeah its always sends me on a huge laughter fit wen i see sum1s clothes or furniture bein burnt by a hot rock but it sucks wen ur the one bein burnt! lol for bongs we usually put enough so that the level of hash crumbs is level with the top of the bowl peice, but u can just smoke a couple a little crumbs at a time if u wanna be conservative. in spliffs just cover the baccy so that there is at least one medium sized crumb (1-0.5 wide) at every part of the spliff, so theres always hash burnin wen ur smokin the spliff an not just baccy.
We did some knife hits last night, which worked pretty well but was a pain in the ass and made me a bit uneasy w/ the hot metal and all. What I think I'm going to do now is go get a nice magnifying glass and just go outside during the day w/ the hash. I had doubts about solar hits, but it worked really nice and quickly on weed last time, and the Arizona sun probably helps a lot, too I was going to try the bottle method but couldn't figure out a good way to get a hole in the bottle that was available to me. Ah well...only have like 1/2 a gram left now.
Sounds cool.. is it Melting-hash? I tried solar hits w/ hash once, and it was nice gooey melt-hash, so it worked pretty damn well.. I dunno about more condensed commercial hash though
is that just like usin a vapouriser? might give it a go with my plug in stove, extension cable, jar and a straw so i can do it outside my house, otherwise my mum WILL smell it! (shes an x-stoner )
The hash I had would bubble when I smoked. The guy we get it from just makes it with all his grower friends, so it's pretty nice. The solar hits I think will work if it worked when you did it before. I doubted the power of solar hits, but this last time, the weed burned quicker than using a lighter because of the constant stream of light, so I'm pretty confident in it working...now if I can just borrow my friend's nice thick magnifying glass.
