Oh no, I'm addicted to caller ID...

*sigh* I had my cordless phone in the bathroom with me and I dropped it into the sink...It was totally submerged in the water and I think I killed it. So while I'm letting it dry out I had to plug in my old phone that has a cord, and I have discovered that I have to know who's calling before I pick up the phone! I don't have caller ID on the phone with the cord, so when it rings I get all nervous that it's going to be a bill collector or someone that I don't want to talk to, and I have been answering with a very suspicious "hello?" and my brother just called and found it hilarious. Does anyone else have this problem??? Anyone else addicted to their caller ID??? This is so embarrassing, but I just had to share.

i dont have caller display in room so when i decide to pick up the phone i do a very slow and questionable 'hhhellloo???'

 

Nope, I never even look at the caller id.

yep I usually hate to talk on the phone so unless it's someone I really like to talk to or really need to talk to I don't answer my phone and normally I am horrible at returning phone calls. There are too many people to avoid in this world so not having caller id makes no sense.
