I'm doing a paper on America's prisons and the statistics for blacks in prison are simple facts. One in eight black men between the age of 20 and 30 are in prison compared to one in sixty three white men of the same age. How the hell do you argue that when your President is black and has a net worth of several million dollars.

No shit there's more blacks in prison, because they live in poverty ridden areas. How many of them are violent criminals? How many of those violent crimes could have been prevented by the abolition of draconian drug laws?

 

I can't seem to find the source I was using that broke down the crimes by ethnicity, age, gender, and the nature of crime but blacks were MUCH more likely to be in prison for violent crimes. What does being poor have to do with it? One of the richest woman in America (can't count the Waltons, I'm talking about self made people) is Oprah.

Usually when talking about people in prison, it means they are serving at least a one year sentence. Most of the people serving sentences like that for marijuana are probably there for growing and trafficking which seems like a Hispanic/White thing. The laws for cocaine and heroin are just.

As far as black people, my step father is black, my sister is 1/2 black, black people are awesome, niggers suck though.
