I take lexapro (dont ask why) and i have a shitload of them. 20mg pills, a pretty high dosage for the medicine. I just wanted to know if the drug can be used for recreational use. I know that side effects from the drug are migrains, increased appetite (the migrains suck). Can i slang these pills or bad idea? Will people get into a altered state?
definitely not! My friend was once in the same situation you were but no one wanted to buy depression meds.

my grandma takes that for her parkinsins. i dont understand why you would want to take that. although when my grandma was asked how are her meds acting towards her by her doctor, she replied, "the little people bother me" supposely the number one side effect for older paitents is seeing little people (that arent there)

Dummy. I KNOW the side effects, some bad and some good. I take it for depression. Its increased my mood overall by a shitload within 2 months. Anyway i didnt really wanna sell it for recreational use, just wanted to see if it would get people happy and maybe even in a altered state. But then again im not a pharmacist prescribing drugs to people so ill keep them to myself.
I took lexapro for 3-4 months as an anti depressant and suffered from so many side effects it wasnt funny off the top of my head they where itching, loss of motivation, sleeping for 16 hours, loss of hair from my legs, loss of sexual drive and function, voices shouting at me in my head (something that brought back weird memories of the same thing happening when i was about a kid from time to time) & when the doctor uped me from 10 to 20mgs for no reason as i told the doctor i was doing fine (great medical system we have here) i would get overly dizzy and feel like the floor was geting further away. Also when i missed a dose for a day or 2 i would be depressed for no good reason. In the end i decided to stop taking them because i feel SSRI drugs are nothing more than a chemical trial on society and a way for drug companys to make money from people relying on useless pills. This is all just my opinion (sure SSRI drugs may work for some people but they are defnetly not for me and with all the bad side effects i got it makes me wonder how good they are for your mind and body) So to cut a long answer short even if you could get high off these id rather shoot heroin in my eye ball than take another one of these evil pills. (Just incase you couldnt tell, NO you cant get high of lexapro or any other sort of SSRI/SNRI medication, trying would just be retarded) In my opinion even people who do get good effects from SSRI drugs it is more of a placebo effect because they expect they are going to feel better so tell them self they do, depression that is not caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain cant be treated with pills, its treated by making improvements in your life and i imagine a majority of the people on SSRI drugs dont have depression due to a chemical imbalance in their head but due to issues in their life. So they go see a doctor, a easy fix for the doctor is to throw some pills at them and move on without looking at the real issues behind the depression.
lexapro is EVIL. i was prescribed to it for a month. started at 5mg and worked my way up to 20. i became very suicidal and had to stop taking it.......bad stufff id flush it if i were you
SSRI medications should NEVER be used recreationally!! They can cause suicide ideation and withdraw is a bitch!
