This is a very historic moment for the states, ,so what was everyone doing at the moment that the first African American president was elected to the presidency?

working. when i came home i saw my room mates face (PISSED) and i heard obama speaking. from there i knew. woot woot. Mcain lost bad hahahahaha.

 

watching the tv at a friends' house [i have nuh]

the west coast voting was due to end in 5 seconds, 4, 3, 2, 1, and a big graphic went up saying basically 'barack obama is the fucking president now so you racist assholes better get used to it'

it actually said something else, but i was having trouble seeing through tears of joy

 

I took some drugs and porn f*cked my wife for about 3 and a half hours to celebrate the death of the bush administration.

 

at a metallica concert, mere feet from the stage. it was awesome fun.

 

Watching it on tv into the wee hours. When he won Ohio I knew he had it in the bag, but I still got that little bit of excitement when the big graphic came up a couple of hours later saying basically 'barack obama is the fucking president now so you racist assholes better get used to it'....

 

I was sitting at home, reading, eating and chatting online. I didn't watch the results come in.

 

Eating a peanut butter, jelly and honey sammich.
Smoking two cigarettes at once.

 

I was at rehearsal.

My mind was not on the task at hand. Afterwards, I went with a colleague to a bar here in Nashville. She is a tall, beautiful dyke, and i'm a pinko. They watered down our drinks and peppered us with stealth racist comments.

We had to speak in soft voices, and I didn't get to hear the speeches over the rednecks. We held each other and both cried. I can't believe it!

We should have found a gay bar, but I didn't feel like being somewhere with loud music.
