The n-word is more contextual for a man who was born in Hawaii to an African father and an American mother, and was then educated in Indonesia?

    How so?

They are all useless terms because they only encourage segregation and racism.

I don't know why you dumbass gringos cannot see that.

    Probably because you're dumb.

Nah, contextual for someone who would otherwise refer to themselves as an "African American".

Hell, I don't think that Obama ever even referred to himself as such, it's all media frenzy and dumb niggers who want to make an even bigger deal out of race.

There is no country in the modern world that is more racist than America, you people take the cake.

    1) If you want to get technical, I'm not at all white.

    2) This has nothin to do with historical and cultural backgrounds what-so-ever.

The fact that people choose to interpret the differences as negative means that this classification of people is negative, and therefore destructive.

Maybe you should focus more on people as people and not on black pride, asian pride, white pride, or whatever.

"Gringo" can stand for any American person, not just whites.

No, what you're doing right now is trying to ignore differences, pretending like you are all alike, while acknowledging them in a rather ugly fashion at the same time.

All in all, RACE does not differ people. The associations that people have with race are the problems. Race is associated with crime, poverty, education, and so on and forth. We have to surpass these stereotypes in order to achieve any social progress. This will require elimination of terms such as "African American". Terms which are full of nasty nostalgia and false excuses. It is time for the black man to move beyond slavery, to let go of a sad past and accept the inevitability of a future in a country where he can actually get out of this culture of poverty if he puts some effort into it. Blacks and whites must be integrated and mixed together in order for this to happen. The ghetto does not encourage education, it sucks people into it and there they state as they succumb themselves to the same stereotypes that are destroying their race.

So "African American", "White", "Asian American", and the rest of them are RACIST. They further push us away from dealing with the core problems of society that are overshadowed by this diversification of race, but in reality have little to do with race at all.

Not necessarily, the lemba tribe in africa could be one of the lost tribes of Israel, and The Great Zimbabwe a fortress built along the way as they marched south to the sea and the promised land

    Hotwater :p

in the end everyone will be assimilated and there will only be one colour skin anyway. and then humans will have to make another label to segregate themselves. pretty stupid
