I just seen Anderson Cooper talking to a hologram

    So did anyone one else watch him interview Will I am from the black eyed peas?

    I saw it but it didn't impress me. You could see the blue screen outline around him and it was very jerky like watching an online video clip. Plus the fact that they would show the side view of him only when the CNN studio was shown from the side. I think it will take a while longer to make it look like a real hologram.

    It reminded me of when ABC(? I think) came out with the yellow dot in the hockey games covering the puck.

    It's funny watching "sci-fi" movies from decades ago, and now seeing much of that technology being developed. You hear about some of the breakthroughs and you can't help but wonder to what extent it is going to affect the human race. Robotics, nano-technology, digital-age, etc...

    Completely agreed... Perhaps it depends on the technology. If its used to free up our time then that's probably good.


    I saw that... it looked kinda corny. Not bad for a first try though

    anyone ever been to universal orlando???

    they have an extremely impressive hologram of christopher walken on one of their rides named disaster
    he is projected onto nothing on the center of the stage and even has a reall person circle around him and shit

    I thought it was cool, I wonder if it's expensive to use that technology and if it will become an everyday thing for the news.
