ive got some scalp showing that wasnt there before, im not going bald lol i just want to know if this is normal its on the top in the back and if it will go away with growth, i feel like my hair is never gunna grow, is there anything i can do to make the hair fill in these spots, seeing my own scalp kinda freaks me out it did even before i had dreads

    did you backcomb?
I started backcombing and then noticed some bald spots where the hair had pulled together and stuff, so I stopped backcombing. Its been about 2 months and the bald spots finally filled in and are less noticeable. So yeah...i think yours will def fill in too.

hmmm....I would still imagine that it will fill in. The bald spots are prob due to loose hairs finally picking a dread and knotting up with it...thus leaving baldish spots. Care to post pics?

looks fine anyway.. would be interested to see if we can get some pics of other ppl to see if its due to backcombing ( sectioning ) or if every one has it at one stage.

i havent done anything but play with them. and tie some together to hide some of the baldyness. i actually conditioned them a little bit for the first time since i had dreads i think it helped a little my hair growth has really slowed down id actually prefer if my roots were a little looser.
