i haven't gone yet, but supposedly we have the touch screens, with the option to use paper instead. i don't expect a long line because my voting district is mostly rural so there's really not that many people living here.

they came out with a scrub brush and clorox after I voted on the touch screens. I wonder why they didn't do that with any of the other machines....?

i voted, went at like damn 7 this morning, the line was long but moving fast, and i had only ever voted one other time (because of age not irresposibility) and i have never seen the written ballots until now, only electronic, so that was intresting.

 

well, technically, you can vote for whoever you want.

i've never noticed this before, but this is my first presidential election above drinking age

i planned to have a couple beers while waiting for the results to come in, but they aren't selling alcohol at the VP here from 6AM till 6PM! i guess they're afraid of people getting loaded before voting haha

so is this common?

 

Not that I'm aware of, in fact, I'm pretty sure there were a couple drunk people in line with me this morning. And all the bars around here are already busy.
