Report clears Palin in Troopergate probe
By RACHEL D'ORO, Associated Press Writer

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin violated no ethics laws when she fired her public safety commissioner, the state personnel board concluded in a report released Monday. "There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with these matters," the report says.

    Hey, how 'bout that!

A personnel board consisting entirely of personnel appointed by Palin finds Palin innocent.

The board was appointed by former Governor Frank Murkowski, not by Palin.

    Murkowski is worse than Palin.

It appears you are correct. Bad assumption on my part. She reappointed one of the members, but didn't choose any of them.

It was the previous crooked cronyist Governor that appointed them.

Too bad for her, this comes a day late and it's a dollar short. It's hard to take seriously this report in light of the legislature's investigation, and only raises questions about the process. It certainly doesn't do anything to change the image of a petty governor who can not leave her personal life at home, and treats every disagreement like a personal conflict.

My bet: she won't be reëlected as governor, and is about to face a full scale revolt by her state legislature.

She should have plenty of time to kill baby seals with Sarkozy after tomorrow. Maybe McCain/Cheney will join them in the helicopter. After all they wouldn't want to get wet or cold while they are hunting.

Cheney may then accidentally discharge a round in said helicopter sending it down. What a horrible thought.
