Just started something with a Libra...HELP!

I'm a Leo guy and just two weeks ago I have become close to a Libra Girl.

Here is my problem...

Being a Leo, I want to see her right away. If I think about her, I want to call her and arrange to meet up that night. But I can already tell she isn't into that. I can tell she likes to be in her own space, and that's okay with me, I'm like that as well, just not when I'm into someone, any Leos understand?

About every other day now she texts me and flirts with me and shows tons of interest, and she has even arranged a date with me this Saturday. So it seems like I have something solid with this person, but I can't help but feel I'm missing something. For example: I asked her out last night through a text and she never responded. Then today she apologized and said she wasn't feeling too good. Why couldn't she just say that instead of leaving me hanging?

I've read Libras don';t like to be asked out??? Why? Why do you get scared or whatever it is? Do you like the chase? Because Leos like the chase.

Help me out Libras!

astrology means nothing, its a pseudoscience, its just for fun.

if you base your relationships and shit like that just around your astrology signs, you may be very lonely for your life.

also, all libras are very different.. i am a libra (oct. 2) and i act nothing like a libra, and i act nothing like my twin and i don't resemble any other libras i know.

everyone is different, the view of the night sky does not catagorize people.

 

OK an update:

She is too confusing, so I completely stopped pursuing her........which might be to my benefit because she texts me more now. But I kinda don't care anymore. She is too random and vague...and she disappears to much.

And to JMT regarding the astrology compatibility...
I don't think it's bullshit...I just think you can't rely on it getting you a partner...pretty much ever. Like this girl is a Libra, and I'm supposed to be compatible with her. But her Libra ways are so strong that she won't get close to me to find out who I truly am outside of texts, so we can't really establish something. And I'm sure we COULD because we have a lot in common with what we find attractive, in art, music, etc. But we've only been together in person once a while back. Anyways that's how I see it

And I still want to know from other Libras why you freak out when people ask you out? Can't make sense of this

 

I am a Libra and I tend to be critical of myself as well as others so when someone asks me out I freak out because generally I'm not sure what I want. We Libras spend our lives looking for "The One" and when we meet someone we think could fullfill that role we analyze whether or not that person is worth the time and effort and I have come to find with myself at least, that I take a while to sum things up. For instance, most of the time when I like someone they don't like me at first in that way then when I start to not like them they become interested. I plunge head first into the relationships I think that I'm sure about and push away the one's whom I'm not sure about but over time sometimes the one I wasn't sure about is the one I find most appealing. It's a very complex way of thinking that makes us Libras so hard to analyze, we however are some of the greatest individuals to analyze others accurately. Call it the Libra curse... hence why my love life never seems to come easily.
That being said... if a Libra likes you chances are she really likes you alot and if she pushed you away at first then is now interested... she probably thought things through and found that you might actually be a good candidate for a relationship (it takes us time). Give her another chance and it could be the best thing that ever happened to you because there is no other love in this world that is greater than true devotion and loyalty and that's how most of us Libra's (not to generalize) tend to be in a relationship.
