Just popped 2 grams... question.

Does marijuana have an enhancing, diminishing or neutral effect on the mushroom high?

 

I find it makes the trip different for like 20 minutes, then its back to normal, as for the enhancing/diminishing thing, I cant really say. Some like it, some don't.

Marijuana has great synergy with mushrooms in my experiences. I definitly think it is an enhancer, it tastes so damn good when on mushrooms

 

this might be a little late for the original poster but i've found MJ to very intensely augment the effects of shrooms and lsd. Enjoy the fun hopefully my trip will be tomorrow

 

drink OJ and tell me what you like better while tripping...

 

For me weed acts differently at times. Sometimes it makes the trip more intense for a while, sometimes I don't feel it at all, it's weird. But I have never known it to diminish the effects of the mushrooms.

 

i prefer the mushroom high straight up, without any distraction.

 

I don't notice that much when i smoke weed while tripping i just assume it's the shrooms.... cant really feel the weed.

 

Smoking weed makes the experience overwhelming, and overwhelmingly unintelligible for me, which is saying quite a lot considering how hugely confusing the mushroom experience is on it's own.

Weed + mushrooms = utter mindfuck, which can be good or bad depending on set and setting. For me it was epic, but I was with a friend wading in a shallow calm river alone in the wild in the middle of summer in the middle of a beautiful day.

If you are anywhere remotely public or anything like that, might wanna avoid throwing MJ into the mix, I really emphasize that it turns your problem-solving to mush and jacks the experience up tenfold.

 

i've done shrooms once, i had the opportunity to smoke up near the come down but it just felt like it would totally ruin the shroomy vibe

 

The advice on the leaflets you get when you buy shrooms in the Netherlands is that smoking weed before you trip will diminish the effects, but smoking during your trip will intensify the effects.

I think the two go well together. But I smoke weed with everything.

 

I find that when my visual hallucinations start to wane while tripping mushies smoking some weed brings them back, but only for about 20 min, and they are very different visuals than just mushrooms. Very interesting though.
