I am experiencing anxiety- of late. A last-minute resistance to letting go. Do you guys experience similar things?

    Thanks- :)

Sorry, but I also don't understand the question. What I have experienced is being in retreat and feeling myself dissoove and with that all my meaning until I feel totally spaced in a way which feeling like I'm dying. Usually I come off retreats like feeling really wild.

    Cherea,

Perhaps you are experiencing some anxiety because letting go is one of the most difficult things to do. As Richard Dawkins once put it, "Homo sapiens is a purpose-ridden species." When we let go of our goals, purpose-filled illusions, and sense of self, we have the potential to become mindful and observe what really goes on in our minds. And some anxiety may be a part of this. I suggest that you patiently observe this anxiety whenever it arises. Become aware of it yet do not judge it or get angry with yourself. Let it come and go, come and go, everything is cyclical. Just let it be and smile at this resistance. It's all natural.
