I was talking to my ex, and he wants me to spend the night by his house. We're getting close again and I dont want my parents to ruin it again. The first time we went out, my mom went completely psycho and tore us apart cause of our age differences. The second time, he started getting close to me, my mom went over to his house annd waited, put her brights on, and just shined through the house with his mom sleeping. I lookd at my phone, it was off, (how was i suspose to know??) and he got mad and took a break from us. The third time now we're getting close and I DONT want my parents to bitch because Im 18 now. Anyways, its crazy but he wants me to spend the night. Of course im scared cause I dont want to deal with my parents. He cant spend the night here cause my parents dont want any guy here. I figured since im 18 and own my car, they have no input in this but wanting info in where im going and to answer my calls. They cant take away anything or ground me cause I own just about everything I mainly use. I mean its only spending the night. I just dont know how to approach them with it.
so don't just tell them you're going out with some of your girlfriends to see a some movie and you're not sure when you'll be home. and if you're not home until the next day just tell them you were too tired to drive. that's what i would do anyways.
If your going to lie your know your doing something wrong. Fess up and just explain that you want more responsibility in your life and to just let you have some space. I almost have a daughter (step) your age and i know i wouldn't appreciate her lying. We know when she is
well, i did tell my mom honestly what i was going to do and she was so happy that she let me go. she said that i was taking responsibility telling her the truth. i feel so much better telling her the truth and her accepting it. I feel confident now in talking with her i was surprise that drugs were the first thing on her mind lol shes like "dont take drugs stacy! you have a state job coming up!"
that's cool, and i'm glad everything worked out for ya, see i probably would have had to bend the truth, or just leave little things out and hope they didn't get asked about. but like i said in my, my mom is being annoying thread, my mom is sick and slowly going crazy, litterally, not figurativley.
