Well, I filled out my vote by mail ballot barefoot, but I was wearing tennis shoes when I dropped it off at the polls because I was off to to knock on doors for a candidate right afterwards. And I should be brave and canvass barefoot, but yeah. Go Obama!
Did the mail-in ballot thing. We filled them out at home and I dropped them off barefoot inside the local city/county government building. No problems!
I will add that I am fairly involved in politics and often work at my democratic party headquarters barefoot. No one seems to mind. I also plan to do late night literature drops (putting messages on peoples doors) barefoot.
Yep.!! Since I'm Barefoot 24/7/365 Guess I Had No Choice... Not Talking About the Current U.S.A Elections..........But The Local Government Election Held Here A Few Weeks Ago.. Keep Em Bare.. Cheers Glen.
Our local elections coincide with those in the US, so I went to the polls today, Nov. 4. The Commissioner of the board of elections was preparing to do an interview with the media as I walked in and greeted me, glanced at my feet and said "Wow, I like that!". I love Micronesia.
Awesome, seohsreven! I tried to vote in our school's mock election in shoes, but my vote didn't go through on the computer... so I did it from home. Barefoot. Woohoo. *annoying party noise maker* *bows head* And so my vote was cast for Chuck Baldwin. Oh, wait. He got half a percent. Man, I've been a downer lately in regards to these damn elections. But hey, we got a foot of snow and school was out, so I guess that makes up for it... right?...
I voted barefoot and my voting place was in an elementary school, which was in session, didn't get any comments from the adults but lots of "oh look he's barefoot" from the kids.
In Australia have voted barefoot a few times over here. Will be barefoot at council elections in a couple of weeks.
I actually worked the polls ...hahah that sounds funny ... anywho .... I didnt get to do it barefoots...
I do the absentee / mail-in ballot, so of course, I was barefoot at home filling out my ballot card. I then walked to the nearby mailbox to mail in my ballot--barefoot once again. Perfect day for it, too (sunny and upper 70s). This was the week before Election Day, by the way.
