okay, I know a couple who have seven kids. and they can take care of them, and they are great kids. I also know a couple who have three kids, they simply shouldn't have. these little assholes should not be breathing the same air as decent human beings, and their parents don't deserve reproductive privilege how do we look at this problem, in an intelligent way, and find a way to at least slow the breeding of people who shouldn't have kids.
the thing is, diseases and wars are too unfocused. we need a plan here, something that will make the people incapable of raising decent children either sterile, unwilling to breed, or make their breeding enough of a challenge that through their own motivation they'll just decide to watch nascar and wheel of fortune instead.
unfortunately, targeting bad parents is trickier than targeting racial groups, or economic groups, so something like genocide is too final. there would not be enough efficiency in it. and it would still miss it's target. making breeding a challenge is much more effectively targeted towards this goal, and the big three on that are contraceptive devices, gender isolation, and chemical contraception in a widespread fashion. each, obviously, tricky, and, only works if we are to determine that determination is what makes a good parent. some people would be determined to have a child because they believe they need one, some would be determined to use it as a status symbol, there are so many things which would drift it, there are no silver bullets here, not even when we reach into the most fucked up bits of human history.
that might help. but it could push the infant mortality rate much higher, which we definitely do not want.
yeah, i was joking there. i really think that it would help a bit, but overall it would create more problems than it would help to solve. i really can't think of any way to actually fix this problem, let alone an affordable way.
all of them are really "horror stories of nazi germany" that I can come up with. the problem with all of those being, of course, that they're insane and that they are so untargeted, at least in any realistic application. it almost seems like the only credible way is through social engineering, and slow poisoning. bot of which are horror stories, but, both are somewhat credible I mean, if everyone who had mcdonalds everyday of their life suddenly couldn't breed, what is the impact?
oh, certainly. we're just brainstorming here though. what do you think would happen if a whole generation of poorly parented children <by a certain description> all had cholesterol over, say, 400?
Economic development is inversely correlated with population increases. The US being the obvious exception. Most other developed countries would actually have decreasing populations if it weren't for immigration.
Sounds like eugenics, which was practiced, in some form, in many countries other then Nazi Germany, including the U.S. and Canada. For more info via wiki- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugenics
Simple Every male child shortly after birth should be given a reversable vasectomy. When they are of legal age 18 they can get it reversed if they want. At least half the population is conceived by accident teen pregnacy would almost completly disappear the burdon of unwanted kids would be gone. Welfare and public assistance system wouldn't be in the mess they are. Healthcare rates would drop quality of life would go up, enviromental impact would go down, crime would go down deadbeat dads wouldnt exist its fuckin perfect. Had this been in effect 30 or so years ago I wouldn't exist as I do and that wouldnt bother me one bit My life isnt benifiting the world that much I just do my thing and try to enjoy my time, how important is that to the world?
Remove all the laws and labels that are made to protect stupid people (examples: Dont point gun at self, coffee is very hot, no snoking in gas stations, keep fingers out of areas with sharp blades) I think we should allow the stupid to die, saves the species.
